I am interested in all aspects of how molecules self-organize in archaeal biology during evolution - from cytoskeleton structure and polymerization kinetics to subcellular localization and dynamics; from mechanistic insights of cell cycle events to microbial community behavior. More importantly, my goal is to create an intellectual environment where scientists in my group feel free to follow their curiosity and to take ownership of their science. My role is to provide guidance and structure to their own process of discovery, supporting their career goals.
