I am a Ph.D. student in Molecular and Cell Biology. I received my B.A. in Anthropology and Sociology from Fordham University in 2010, and after an 8-year career in Higher Education, I returned to school for a fresh start in the sciences. I received my B.S. in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2021 and fell in love with working at the bench.

 

I am thrilled to begin exploring the archaeal cell cycle. How are biological processes regulated? How does the cell maintain its genetic material throughout the cycle? How do cells respond to stress conditions?

 

In my spare time, I enjoy music, running, hiking, camping, and exploring the East Coast with my husband and our dog Kiwi.
